I currently have:
Duron 700
300w PSU
ABit KT7A Raid
128 PC133
Monster Sound Mx300
ATI Radeon 32MB DDR

I canot get the Duron any higher than 910 and be stable.
It's not my temps because they get no higher than 103f.
Any ideas ????

How much voltage are you feeding this sucker? Mine does 954 on 1.825 volts but wont go any higher even if I bump the vcore to 1.85. A lot of people just run out of voltage overhead when OC'ing the socket A chips, which is why the voltage mods to socket A boards are so popular.

I've heard the rumor down the grape vine that the 700's didn't overclock as nicely as the 600-650 models. Take it for what it's worth. My 650 hit 1080 before temps started rising. Now I'm at 1020 stably.

burn that sucker in! use a high voltage and run some intence software for about a day. then you should see some results

I'd give burning -in a go..but a weeks worth, rather than a days. Drop the mutiplier, and max the vcore. There is a good little bit about theory and practice here (http://people.freenet.de/s.urfer/conditioning.htm).

Run all of the burn-in programs, several at a time, to stress the maximum number of PMOS and NMOS registers. Proper cooling is a must. I do not allow my temps. to exceed a reported 40C during a burn-in.

The guys ahead of me left out the part about the "Snake Oil" and Rabbits foot.

Burning in accomplishes two things. It weeds out "iffy" CPUs and it allows the thermal grease to displace and the HSF to settle down good against the core. That's it. Burn in running a good stressing test like Prime95, Folding at Home, even 3D Mark 2001. Do so at a voltage, multiplier and FSB setting that yields 40-50C Temperature, but not more. A weak CPU will manifest within a few hours and the grease, thanks to the elevated temperature and vibration from the fan will have displaced within 24 hours.
