The chip is going to be a Tbred with either cut down or disabled L2 cache. The dimension of Tbred and the Duron die seem exactly the same, this could be if they are just disabling the cache and selling them as durons. Pretty much the same they will be doing with the Thortons when they get released. I wonder if this is true, then can this cache be reactivated, and the chip turned back into a Tbred?
 
the applebreds are actually barton cores[stripped down thou], not t-breds...read the thread link posted above.
 
Yea where does it say stripped down bartons?
the size of the die,the model number (8) and the name applebred speak for themselves, its a L2 cache disabled TBred.
 
The Coolest: I agree, but other sources have stated it has some of the features that are found in bartons, maybe its a hybrid (the crossover from tbreds to bartons that went a bit pair shaped!!)

Still can't wait to see what they are like!!! :)
