As Sharky Extreme stated about three months back, There is a good 90% chance that the 200MHz FSB Athlons will reach 1.5GHz. Good news for those of you who got the Athlon boards that only have 200MHz FSB.

How?

Simple, AMD reroutes the multiplier as they did in the 1.3GHz Athlon to produce the 13X multiplier. (100x15). I bet that all motherboards will support this processor, even if it looks messed up in the bios which can be fixed easily of course with a bios update.

It is known fact that AXIA chips get in the 1.5GHz range. I you can't use the 133/266(hyped)FSB, then there is always the possibility to clock back the fsb and raise the multiplier (even with a 266 chip). Moreover there are bioses available with a multiplier up to 15.
