Im wanting to overclock a Duron 800. Tip and tricks please, im a begginer.
Well, the first thing to do would be to do a search on "unlocking DUron" on this website or on google.com. I can definitely tell you how to overclock your processor, yet it's not just that information you need. You should do research on your motherboard, ram, vid card, nic card, modem, heat issues, case, cooling, all that good stuff. Look around and start reading. It's the best advice. Compare and contrast unlocking methods. Do you want a quick and cheapo fix that might have to be re-done every month. Or do you want to spend about 10 bucks and unlock it for good. Look into Heatsinks, compare and contrast fans for cooling.
We could tell you HOW to do it, but it would be recommended you LEARN how to do it. Look around, read, and if you have any questions feel free to post back here. Good luck, and don't let Spode near your computer. He's having some bad luck.
Try starting here and good luck!

There's a lot to really succcessful overclock. Keep your reported temperatures at a maximum of 45C. This guide should give you a good feel for what's involved. Make sure that you know your motherboard, and how to clear CMOS.
