Hi

Just got a new 1.2G TB. Its supposed to be a 266mhz FSB chip. Being a newbie, I am not sure how to identify to chip. I would like to verify that my chip is really wat its meant to be. From where i am, its very common for uncareful consumers toi get ripped off by vendors. This is wats written on my CPU core :-

A1200AMS3C
AXIA 0113VPCW
9544461899

And can someone pls tell me wat AXIA means?
Help appreciated and thanks.

AXIA means that it should be a good overclocker. There are people hitting 1700 with those chips. They have VERY good cooling though. I have an AXIA 1200 200 FSB chip doin 1400 without even breakin a sweat.

The 1200 on the first line is the speed and the last letter of the first line "C" tells you that it is 266Mhz. "B" means 200Mhz.
