hey I just wandered if I disabled the cache in the bios , would it

would it disable the cache on my chip completely and let me see what I could OC the core alone to on this TB , I just have read in alot of places that the full speed cache is what holds back the TB

i think it would give you a performance hit on the benchmark, run some tests and post your results for us
