When I first started pushing my CPU/MOBO to overclock, I couldn't get past 1350mhz w/o setting my voltage to 1.85. After reading acouple of threads of others w/ same set up running at lower voltages ans getting same 1.47mhz , thouhgt I would try again. This time it works, I am at 1.7 volts w/ everything else the same. It also dropped my temps 3-5C.
Wonder if it just takes a little time for everything to burn in? Anyone else have similar results?

you hit the nail on the head, it is called burn in time- you took a backwards approach, normally you would start off with less of a oc, let it run for a day then bump it up, let it run for another day then bump it up, etc, etc- you might even squeeze more out of it if you burned it in some more.
