I have an Asus a7V333 RAID board.

Running Windows XP, it is rock solid.

Once I installed Via Hyperion 4-in-1 drivers (any version), it became completely unstable, usually freezing on boot. It would last a maximum of 15 minutes if it did manage to boot up.

I have now uninstalled all Via drivers, and my machine has improved but continues to lock-up after 15-30 minutes of usage. What has Via done to my installation? Why are these drivers so crappy?

I've never had a problem w/ any of the VIA 4in1 drivers I've used.
Download the latest version (I think it's the 447 one but I may be wrong) and load it.

The 4in1 driver is always the first driver I load after I do a clean O/S install and I've never experienced any instability.
