Id be willing to be[t] that it can hit ddr600 speeds, my pc3200 can do 470 easy, without vmods, and its not even level 2 black, its the promotianal stuff they put out a while ago.

Sweet. I hope it pushes prices down too. And don't forget the SUMMERDDR code for 10% off if someone springs for this new mem!

"SUMMERDDR 10% off" is only good through 8-31-03. Probably not in time for the PC4000 RAM.

its out, and has poor timings like the rest of the ram out right now.

it seems to use 4ns ram, as the pc4000 page states "highest quality discrete 4ns chips" or something like that.

there was a post about what chips it uses, but the mushkin guys were somewhat coy, and answered something like "the fastest we could find". i don't think they're bh-4s, since afaik, those are still only in pre-production. i'd be curious to find out what chips they're using...

I emailed them about a month ago. they told me they were waiting at that time for winbond to finish retooling their new dies .so i would assume there is a good chance its the new windbond stuff.. 1 thing for sure muskin is very conservative about their speed ratings I'll bet this stuff really flies...
