Im an amature at doing mods to boards/video cards etc, so i was wondering if theres a site that tells me anything more than "remove the resistor or cut the bridge"

http://8rdafaq.com/

Looks pretty simple to do. Instructions and photos are clear.

I didn't do it. I don't plan on doing it.

I added ramsinks on MOSFETs and VR, did Vdd mod, added active cooling on NB and passive cooling on SB (lapped both NB and SB - both needed it).

With those mods, my 8RDA+ runs stable at real-world settings of 226 X 11, memory synchronous. I've tested it Prime95-stable at 240MHz FSB with 5X multiplier and memory set to 60% of FSB, but NB/board isn't really heavily stressed at those settings.

Hope this helps!

nevermind about that, my 8rda+ just blew up in a lightning storm so im RMA'ing and getting an nf7 instead.
