Ok, just bought a Asus p4p800 w/ p4 3.0ghz cpu. I want to buy about a gig of RAM that isn't outrageously expensive, but there's a catch. I need RAM that is most stable. I plan on overclocking in a little while (planning on buying DIFFERENT RAM for that.), but just started school and i need to have a computer that is stable for the first few months. I want to buy the 3200 probably, but i dont know what to buy. Any suggestions for each type (1.overclockable 2.stable at non-o/c speeds) would be great? TIA.

if u want a stable system

just get some generic pc2700, very cheap at 1 gig < 150 if u can find the right place

it will be stable and u can game also as long as your vid card is up to it

for occing RAM: get some ADATA, if u can get your hands on it, or OCZ which is overpriced

if u want some value oriented overclocking, get some mushkin or... GEIL is ok
