Yeah, like the title says, whenever I try running it as a service in XP home, I never see any progress getting done. I mean if I check my stats, they never move up as to WU's completed.... Anyone have any suggestions? If I can get this to work, I'll soon be able to have a 1700+, a 2500+ @3200+ speeds, and a t-bird 850 up and folding for team 32.
are you sure the process is running?
have you run it once as a normal app to set up the config properly before running as a service?
look in the log file for errors

As far as I can tell from the log file, there aren't any errors, it just isn't running as a service... The only way I make any progress is by running it manually.
are you using the one click install? I've loaded it on about 10+ machines and it seems to be running ok.

what do you mean by the one click install? I've just been installing it per the directions in the FAQ.

Alright, here's what I think my problem might be....
In the FAQ on how to set up F@H as a service, it tells you to type in the password you set up for your administrator account, or else the service might not run. I never set up a password for my Administrator account, the computer only has one account on it. What do I do?

So I take it it is your computer....did you try like admin for the password? Because IIRC, win will put a default one....if the computer is not yours (I assume it's yours, noting the posession you have implied in your previous post) then ask whoever owned it for the password and permission if you do not already have it :).
And you know you need to already have FAH installed to have the service install correct? Then you choose existing, and point to the actual FAH3Console.exe....

Ha, it's funny, my name is brian too....
Anyways, yes I do own the computer, it is the downstairs "family computer" as soon as I can figure this out, I'll have *my* nice computer folding as well as a backup t-bird 850.
