Cutting T-Bird Bridges

I,ve seen alot of tricks for closing the bridges on the T-bird, but what about cutting them?, I,ve heard you can use a very sharp knife, or a cutting wheel on a dremel,....well, I've tried em all but I cant seem to get them to split, how deep are they? any succes storys out there?

I heard if you goto a jewellers and ask them to cut them, they do a good job. This is something I might try sometime.

I'd really like to read that someone has done it themselves.
