i have an epox 8rda+ and an xp 2500 @ 200x11, and previously with an slk800 and a smartfan II with ceramique the longest i ran prime95 wuz 13 hours.

now i ordered a zalman heatsink, applied it to the northbridge with ceramique, and moved the nb heatsink to the southbridge, with ceramique, and i cant break 2 hours on prime 95.

the nb heatsink does not mate very well at all with the nb, but i think the chip cover is concave. can a lap that?.. how will i now if its getting too thin?

any thoughts on this stability decrease would help me.

thank you.

what zalman did you put on the NB? and have you tried just switching the new zalman and the SB (old NB cooler) around?

so y would prime95 run so much better with the old heatsink?...

should i switch to the thermal paste that came with the new zalman? [the zmnb32j]
