Question about barton 2500

At this moment i have a tbred 1700 running at 2100mhz. I got myself a barton because i like the idea on getting the extra cache.But i have the following questions:

1 - Are bartons unlocked?
2 - Do they have the same settings for changing the vcore on the socket as the tbred? i dounloaded the white papers on model 10 of athlon xp but im not sure if these arethe corrects ones.

1. All T-Breds & Bartons are unlocked themselves. Some mobos may only recognize just lower or just higher multis though.

2. Yes, what is your mobo, that's what it depends on. Is your CPU a T-Bred A or T-Bred B?

I have an MSI KT4 Ultra, the first ones that came out. I im using a tbre B.

Whats the stock voltage on a Barton so i'll know where to put the jumpers.

Default Vcore on all Bartons is 1.65V.
