Cool and quiet
is it possible?

I have a tmd fan thing right now I like the way it sounds =D anyone name a cooler around same of it? 32db Max Im gone to say

thanks up to a 2800+

get a smartfan2. you can adjust the fan speed so if it's too loud you can just turn it down. it works awesome with the slk-900 heatsink

I just installed a SmartFan 2, my first.

I don't know if it is on 'idle' or 'high'. When the computer is just displaying a screen and doing no processing, I've turned the little 'control knob' and looked for something to happen. Max left and Max-right have no impact on the fan speed.

Will the fan go faster when higher temps are sensed?
