Woot! I pushed her to 2.6GHz!!

My question to 8RDA+ owners is.... If you look at the attached gif,
My cpu voltages fluctuate alot! I'm using a 350watt Sparkle.
Do all 8RDA's do that? or is it because of my Sparkle?

It's nippy 2nite, 21c ambient when running Prime95.
Perfect weather for OCing.
I'll try for 2.7GHz after I move this weekend.

Could any nForce2 users post: MoBo, PS, cpu voltages. please.
I'd like to get some stats on this.

I don't know if this belongs in MoBo's or not..... :)

2.6GHz Primed
(I hope this works)

(edit)
ooops gotta find a free webhost.... doh! image is 'bout 128kb
1.89-2.02 are the cpu voltages in question.

2.6 GHz passing Prime95... nice!

Your power supply brand is great, they rate their products conservatively so I think your PSU is really a 440W peak PSU.

Still, in the power supply section they may tell you that you need more juice, I suggest you ask over there.

Nice OC! I wish I could get my FSB up to get some extra mhz out of my chip. :(

I think your PS is probably adequate. My 8RDA does fluctuate under load as well, and I'm using an Antec 300w power supply. Anyway, you might try cooling your mosfets; it may help stabilize things a bit as those mosfets get super hot.

vdd

I've already got an 80mm fan velcroed over the mosfets. :)
Thanx for the tip tho.

If you don't want to do the vdd mod, you could try 12.5 multi.
to get the mhz.

Too bad the higher muti's won't work with-out the wire mod.

P.S. Do the vdd mod! :)
