Hello all,

here I am again with my Inno3D GeForce 3 Ti200. By your advice, I junked all the stock cooling and used some thermal epoxy to attach decent ramsinks and a Socket 7 heatsink to the chip. So, the cooling is now decent, and I'd like to do some o/c :D

There are some questions, though:

1) Is there a sense in raising AGP bus speed? If yes, to how much - 83? 100?

2) If no, should I still raise AGP voltage? (If yes, I obviously should.)

3) As far as RAM is Samsung 4ns, I assume it is rated for 500 MHz, right?

4) What are the clocks I should expect to squeeze out of this baby with and without a voltmod?

Thanks in advance.

P.S. For those who'll find this thread through Search, all the data on voltmodding Ti200's is here (http://www.xbitlabs.com/articles/video/display/titanium-overclocking.html).

1) no. The only sense in raising the bus speed is if you don't have a PCI lock and there's no other choice. But a higher bus speed lowers efficiency.
2) yes, but only if your bus speed is very high. Otherwise, if it's at 66 like it should be, there's no point.
3) Yes. To get the rated speed, just divide 1000 by the ns rating. Thus 1000/4 = 250, which is 500 DDR.
4) No idea.

1) Seems you're right. I set AGP bus at 83 and experience a serious decrease in stability.
2) Got it.
3) That's what I did :)

One more question (in case anyone knows):

what power do I need the resistors for the voltmod to be? I see 0.125 and 0.25 in stock.

1) Is there a sense in raising AGP bus speed? If yes, to how much - 83? 100?

Yes, run at as fast as you can for better fps , but as you found out this may make it more unstable

2) If no, should I still raise AGP voltage? (If yes, I obviously should.)

AGP voltage may make it more stable on the limit, does not tend to effect o/c amount

3) As far as RAM is Samsung 4ns, I assume it is rated for 500 MHz, right?

yes.

4) What are the clocks I should expect to squeeze out of this baby with and without a voltmod?

I would guess 240/550 would be an average, maybe 250/560 ?

I think i was hittin 230/530 with my gf3 ti200 when i had it. Good card and all, but i also had a socket7 cooler with a 20 cfm fan on it. But 230/530 was stable for me.

I had no problem getting mine to 225/545 with stock cooling and no voltage increase. Oh, and the agp was at like 87mhz. Different cards and different mobo's will yeild different results.

I got my GeForce3 Ti200 to do 240/500 on air. I could probably do 245/525 easy on water.
