L1 and what else

I want to over clock my Duron 750mhz AKCA to about 1000mhz, I know that I need to un-lock the L1's to change the multiplier, but what else do i need to un-lock. I heard that you not to un-lock the L7's is this ture and what does it do (is it change the core voltage)

P.S I am getting a Taisol Delta fan and heat sink is this any good.

All you should have to 'unlock' are the L1 bridges.
