It has to be under $6 each with reasonable shipping and it has to support up to Athlon 2800+ ... it doesn't have to be very quiet but 33dbA is as high as it can go :)

any recommendation????
 
Try and find a used stock AMD hsf for your proc, should be able to get it for $6, maybe......
 
That may well be difficult to do for 6 dollars you may want to ask around some local computer stores and ask if they have retail pulls of the stock heatsink from som AMD processors, if you cant find that you may want to consider some cheap generic heatsink which you can buy in the store, that way you dont have to pay shipping.

hehe penquissciguy i was about to recommend that very heatsink ;d pretty good bang for the buck HS =d and its only 5 bucks ;d go get it
