Bios options used to break barriers?

What BIOS options have you found helpfull in overcoming barriers in your OC? Was it disableing HT, your divider? What seemed to give you the extra edge?

Other things to do are disable HT, bump up voltage, disable all onboard things you don't need

Thanks Mrspec. HT is what I believe was holding me back. I may even be able to pass 250 if it continues to prove stable.

ICH delayed transaction and Spread spectrum hurt mine. I disabled those and got about 5 more fsb.

What is the ICH, Spread Spectrum and where might i find it (im sorta a newb for now)

Also what do they do, i would rather know what and how they work so that i might more fully understand the things i dont quite know yet ?
