OK this is one thing I've never done before and wouldn't mind some help/advice on this.

To start i have a Sapphire 9800 np

system is a P4P800, p4 2.6c and 1gb of pc3200

First, hw do i tell what kinda ram i got? is it on the board somewhere or do i have to run some software??

Next, when my np card is comming up as a pro in the video settings... is this normal?

Fianly how do you overcock this thing? I downloaded radlinker and tried playing... I bumped it to pro speeds ( i heard that was easily achievable) ran a test and everything went haywire so i reset it and rebooted, so how high should i go, how should i do it?

Thanks

David

Read the printing on one of the 8 memory chips on the board. It will either be infineon or Samsung. The printing underneath the company name determines the speed of the memory. Either search that string on google or report back and someone can tell you.

You can use one of several utilities. Rage3d tweak, radclocker, powerstrip, etc. It's probably best to start increasing either the memory or the core individually by 5Mhz at a time until you get artifacts. Find the limit of one the start again with the other. Good Luck OCing.

on my 9800 np I got 400/351 this was w/ bios flash and 3.3 ns ram . I might be able to get a litlle higher but so far this is enough for me
