Ok. I COMPLETELY understand that this is soooo not the place to be talking about this, but I had no other place to turn to. Xbox forums are dead b/c the gamers are off in the living room playing Xbox and aren't ever on the computer, and the hotlines for Linksys and MS were of no use.
So I can't connect Xbox Live to the internet. I'm running it directly through a hardline to my router, which is also supporting my PC via wireless. It's one of the new -g routers (54MB/s). I'm getting an error that says "Xbox Live can't connect. Try one of these solutions..." and then it lists 3 problems:
1. The router is not compatible with Xbox
2. I have to increase my MTU to 1365 or greater (...it is...)
3. If my modem is a USB modem... blah blah blah, it's not a USB modem.
The MS guy told me it most likely is not that my router is no compatible, and my modem is not incompatible either.
Has anyone come across this problem? Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix it?
Thanks in advance, guys.
