OK, maybe I'm just an idiot and the thread ends here....I cannot, for the life of me, get my memory in line...when I boot up, it says "Performance Settings enabled, dual channel" I had selected "Aggressive" and "Aggressive" in BIOS for the CPU and the memory.
I have the CPU set to 200mHz (400 FSB) and the memory, if manually configed, will only go to 100% (200mHz) but even in aggressive mode it still puts it at 100%. If I change it to 200% (400mHz), no POST. Bios defaults to 8-3-3-3-3 and will not POST if any other settings are used.
As shown below, I should be able to run this memory at the low latency settings, should I not?
I am using BIOS 1005 (I think, what ever the board ships with). and NO I really don't wan't flash my freakng BIOS.

I do not understand the nature of your problem, are you trying to run the memory at 400 raw MHz (800 MHz DDR), because pc3200 is only supposed to run at 200 MHz and that doubled gets you 400 MHz DDR. If you set it to run at 200 MHz can you adjust the settings then, and lower the latencies? Also could you please include a little more information about your settings.
Hope I can help,

oh..
<sits down really quietly>
so it is correct and I AM already @ 400Mhz
Ill stop ranting about it now that I understand <open clouds, rest light on my head> Im not going to mess with anything then, Im not sure changing all the 3's to 2's is really going to make THAT much of a difference....
