I flashed the mobo with the OC bios 16 and tried to test the 133 bus on my TBird 900
(L1 closed)
Taking under consideration the VIA KT133A chipset bug with this board (system sets the default multiplier and voltage of the proccesor before reading the bios settings) I thought I was lucky when I removed the 133 FSB jumper and it booted fine at 6.5 X 133...Alas...it wouldnt accept any other multiplier i.g. 7.5. The voltage at bios was set to 1.85 to eliminate voltage probs. Any help ?
note : it didnt like any other (lower) multipliers even in 100 FSB !
I have read a trick involving removing the power cable as soon as you accept the multiplier setting changes on bios but it didnt work...
please help !!!
And one last thing...I cant seem to find the 4 way interleave memory option this bios is supposed to have...
Thanks in advance

you may need to try redoing your bridges, sometimes they can cause this kind of problem, also did you try forcing the chip to 1.85 volts by closing all the voltage bridges? this sometimes helps out in chips that dont want to boot at a higher multiplier cuz they need hgiher voltage <you run into the problem with it not changing things around until the bios loads>

Thanks for the reply !
The multiplier bridges are closed using silver paint so I think they are ok !
The voltage may be the solution...I was hoping to avoid that since reinstalling Fop32-1 scares me a bit ! ;-( But if this is what it takes...I will do it !!!!
Thanks
