I was wondering what version of bios everyone was using, and which one you found to be a problem, which one you found to be best ( most stable with your o/c).

Ive tried 1008.4 (best so far)
1009 (ok, but not as good as 1008.4)
1010 (horrible for my o/c... blue screens all the time)

when i got my board
it had 1006 on it
i couldn't find 1008.4 on asus....
so i had to flash the 1009
dunno how that will affect my OC as i haven't tried higher than 3 yet....

Same with me, board came with 1006 and I flashed to 1008.4 and all has been well. Things stable as can be @ 250fsb/1:1. Never saw the need to try the newer revisions...

Later....

Board came with 1006
Went to 1007
Then 1008.004 beta
Flashed to 1008 Final (could not see any difference)
Changed to 1009 but benches were not as good
Went back to 1008.004 beta and there is where I be today.
Have never updated to 1010 to test.

1008.04 I do not flash unless there is a good reason. So far this has been solid so...why tamper with what works great.

i am joining the p4p800 deluxe club! :))

its on its way from newegg along with a 2.4c and 2x256mb hyperx pc3200 ram. save that bios in case mine comes with a less stable newer bios :) thanks.

I've been using 1008.004.

I'm looking forward to Asus fixing the mem ratio problems. 1011.002 seems to be buggy and has been crapping out people's bios chip. I've been thinking about testing 1009 or 1010 to see if the memory ratios have been fixed since I haven't seen anyone else mention it.
