what is the acceptable idle temperature for a tbird 1.2? what about the temp when it has a high cpu load? what temp can i expect from using a gorb?

the gold orb i desinged for intel and ia a well known athlon killer you might want to look into another hsf i also believe that that hsf will not handle a stock 1.2 tbird

The newer T-Birds put out ~74W. I've tested them and feel that if you don't exceed 50C under load you'll be ok. Remember that as the weather gets warmer your ambient temperature will increase and you may have to scale the overclock back.
As Kat said, the GORB is a socket 370 cooler, not a socket A cooler.
