Suggestions

I'm going to be builing an AMD dream system this month. I have been using win98se for years and use nothing else. I know the system really well and feel very comfortable of handling any issues that may come up with it. I do mostly gaming and have heard of all the horror stories of xp with a lot of todays games.

What I would like to know is what are the benefits of upgrading to xp pro. Thanks

XP home works fine with games. XP pro is pretty much the same except it has more advanced features for networking and other things. There is a comparison on microsofts website to see which one is better for you. XP is the best ms os of all time. It is 99999999^9999999999 times better than 98 IMO:D

i don't have any problem playing my favorite games in winxp pro

winxp pro is the BEST

The only people I hear that go on about XP is peple running older O/S. They dont whinge once they get it.

founded? what do you mean?

anyway i have not played CS under Pro yet, but with Home It worked perfectly fine. And since Pro is just Home with some more features, I don't see why it wouldn't work with Pro.
