View Full Version : psu connector question..
There are two connectors on my psu I don't know the use for.. One is cube-like (square if looked head on) with 4 holes, and the other looks like a regular connector, but it doesn't fit anything and says P6 on it, or something like it.. any help would be appreciated, i wanna utilise these, lol..

the 4 hole connector is likely a 12v connector for pentium 4 and AMD cpu's that require more 12v power....if your motherboard has such a 4 pin socket for it (near the cpu) then use it...if not...you don't need it
the p6 connector is unusual looking and i believe it's an auxillary power connector for server boards...i am using it and the 4 pin 12v connector in my dual AMD right now...
