Well I took the leap and purchased Zone Alarm 3 Pro. I have been using Sygate's free firewall ever since my Norton Trial Issue Expired last Spring. And I must say that ZA is by far THE BEST Firewall prog I have ever used. McAffe, Symantec, and yes even you Sygate, had better get your act together fast. Among ZA's slew of features, the best thing I found is it has the most intuitive cookie, privacy, and program control settings I have ever seen:

best pop up blocker i used was proxomitron but now that i dont even use IE except for the few sites that i need it for
Opera and Firebird (browsers) block all pop ups with no need for another program running in the background
