54MB/s or 22MB/s... will I notice a difference?

Ok, so here's the sitch. I've got a Linksys WMP54G, 54MB/s router, but my Xbox won't work with it. So I'm thinking of replacing it with a D-Link 22MB/s router.

I just wanna know, will I notice a huge difference in speed? I mean, obviously, one's more than twice as fast as the other, but I don't think I'm actually moving at 54MB/s, otherwise, MP3's would be DLing all over the place, as would movies :D.

So is there a big difference?

not sure what your asking? the only differnce will be when transfering files around on your network over the wifi. your internet connection will never even be as fast as regular 11Mb 802.11b, unless you have a really expensive fast connection

if you dont transfer alot from computer to computer, I would exchange the router.
