Alright, well is a barton 2500+ OC to 2.4ghz +, as fast as a dual MP 2400+ setup? I mean..

If I had a dual MP 2400+ setup, how fast would a single CPU have to be to, encode...render as fast as the dual MP?

They would be a lot faster than a single barton at 2.4ghz IF the programs you are using are multi threaded. You won't find the smp's as lower in those types of programs until the gap between the dual and single's mhz widen much more.
