Maybe I'm just use to quiet OEM Dell's but I just slap'd on a YS Tech fan on my Thermo Engine and its LOUD. How can you guys out there stand Delta's? I'm thinking of switching back to stock fan....just hope it will hold an AXIA @ 1.5 w/ stock fan
i have two exhaust fans out of laser printers that are rated at 50 Db its very loud but the case is cooler than my room (almost)
No. I've had the Deltas and they are loud. By comparison the YSTech is great. To compare oem Dells to quality fans is like comparing a Yugo to a Mercedes. If you intend to overclock, you'll want the added airflow.
if you cant stand the whine get outta my room

Might want to try rigging a 80mm fan on it instead....just a thought. That way you get the air flow at a lower decible. Everyone who I have seen do this was pleased with the results.

and comparing a ystech to a delta is like comparing a mercedes to a subaru impreza wrx sti! hehehe ;-) ^_^ ^_^
if you're planning on overclocking seriously, you'll want the delta!!!!! :) :) :)
Swap it for a Delta 7000rpm fan, then you'll hear what loud is ;)

What do fans have to do w/ AMD CPU's? This should be in the cooling section.
