Bit of a blast from the past for you all...
Just wondering what the highest L2 cache speeds ppl have reached...
Maximum (stable) speed I can attain is 370MHz... Currently at 360MHz...

Kids these days... :p
It seemed like only last year when I got my "Classic" Athlon...
I know the fastest cache rating on these chip was 2.8ns which I think equates to ~400MHz...

I'm still on the Athlon Classic, and although I use Mathlon to change the divider, if I go without it everything works fine at a max 367 Mhz on the L2 cache. (An 800 core at 918 with 2/5 divider). Beyond that I have to use Mathlon at 1/3, and I still max out at 944 Mhz.

I could run my 650 1/2 cache at 822 which means 411Mhz !!!
Now, I´m using Mathlon and reached 900 2/5 cache

i have a 600 with a 650 core so if i get it to 900 i should try it at 2/5 cache before i try 1/3 to see if its stableat 2/5 cause that would render a higher l@ cache speed?

Mmmmmmm at 900MHz 1/3 is 300MHz whilst 2/5 is 360MHz...

My 500 runs at 800, 8x100, L2=1/2, that means 400MHz. It are 3.3ns rated chips (303 factory default). Core is a 650 one. week 43
and uhh, still enough people running an athlon classic! They rule!
