Whatever happened to the Kyro 3?

I remember about a year ago reading that a successor to the Kyro II was about to be released, and then I forgot about it, but now I can't find any info about it. Was this card ever released or what?

I think PowerVR's manufacturer went bankrupt or something. KyroIII was cancelled. Too bad, seemed like a chip that would have given the geforce3 a run for its money.
