Hoot puts link to porn in article.

Anyone notice where the "Cooling Forum" link on the bottom of this page points?

Yeah, that's right. Here.

ProTip: You might wanna fix that.

EDIT: URL apparently "fixed" but still porn link for me. Whatever.

Well I've been around here for several years now and from what I remember of the developement and growth of OC.com that isn't a mistake on Hoot's or anyone else's part. That particular "www." used to be the address for the OC forums but it has since been changed and now someone else owns ownership to that particular monicker, that article is over two years old. There's probably bits of old references and links that no longer go to where they once did long ago all over the place. Dead links and whatnot will keep popping up now and again but I will see about getting that particular link updated.

I figured out the confusion as to wether or not it was fixed. The link in the top most paragraph was updated, the one at the very bottom was not, but will be updated to match the current forums address soon.

apparently they're not too computer savy at that cooling forum.

Nobody wanted to talk about exhaust temperatures.
Lots of people there think you can use a female molex to spin a hard drive (though they said something more like "drive hard", or something).
Plenty of objection to my assertion that you must plug a female with a male, and vice versa.
Those poor bastages, they'll never get a male plug into a male, will they?
Instead of copper, or even aluminum, there's a large leaning towards leather.
LOTS of infromation on slot loading seedy's.
When it comes to water cooling, many prefer alcohol. Some even talk about some new-fangled "golden shower" approach, but I haven't yet gotten the technical specifics on this entriguing new method.
Real performance enthusiasts, they like their stuff stripped.
I can't, for the life of me, figure out how candles are supposed to enhance performance?
It was suggested that instead of a grounding wire, that I use, or "be", chained to the ground. I guess a chain can carry more electrical current or something.
I don't know what the conversion constant from inches to GHz is for clock speed; must be a foreign site?
I'm still waiting for a response on using a blower on my box.

For a cooling forum, I only got hotter.
I now see: truly, there is much for me to learn, about cooling and so much more.
