View Full Version : OK Antec 400W or Enermax 430 W for AMD AXIA?
Which should I go with, Antec has 245 W combined power, Enermax has 220W combined power. The Enermax is $10 more. Let me know what you think!

this is for a 1 Ghz AXIA that will be overclocked.

The Enermax 430W is what I would go with. Everyone around here runs them and I am not a big fan of antec. Everything they make is ok - good but I have never found a product by them that has impressed me.
The difference in the combined power was precisely why I went with the Antec. It has been working great for me for the last month or so.

My personal choice is the Enermax, but Antec makes quality components, at least as far as I have used.
Go with the Antec! I got the 403ps with the sx1240 for a total of 137 shipped. It is still a very good deal at ONVIA.com for about 145for great case/400watt ps. also I call Antec about switching to the 412(P4 ready) and they were totally cool and said no problem. If the p4's didn't suck so bad I would have gone ahead and RMA'ed at no charge.
i've got nothing bad to say about enermax, has worked like a champ for me- possibly even consider the enermax 600W as a choice to go with
