For all those peeps that have a older Microsoft Sidewinder Pro that does not have any more driver support or will NOT work in BF1942 :mad: (like myself) for better HIND/APACHE flying , I came across this deal for a "Logitech Wingman Extreme Digital 3D Joystick" at Dealsonic .

This seems to be the BEST price around (average price $30 ; $40 Logitech site) and maybe FINALLY I can toss the old Sidewinder out for something that will work in the latest games !

(all-be-it , now Iam REALLY GOOD at chopper flying with my keyboard/mouse in BF1942 :D )

my sidewinder works in BF just fine......heh. You just have to go to control panel, printers/other hardware, game pads, click add (at this point make sure it's plugged in), and then I THINK you choose "Microsoft SideWinder (auto-detect)"...that should work. The only downside is that you will get no force feedback. But otherwise, the joystick works just fine.

Man , I tried EVERYTHING possible , and my Sindwinder just does NOT like BF1942 (not detected in game only).
My Sidewinder works for everything else .
Its OK , cause I need a change after having this one for 4-5 years .

So...... Logitech here I come ! lol
