I am wondering what the typical temperature of my northbridge heatsink is.. I was thinking of attaching the cpu thermal sensor for my cpu fan to the northbridge instead of the heatsink of my cpu.. I know that the northbridge is pretty constant in temperature, but what is the range? This way the fan would never get too slow, and since I don't mind the noise, i wouln't mind it spinning between 3000-4800 rpm, which is about 43-55C, which I think the range of the northbridge is..

Also, any links for installing cooling for the northbridge??

Is there any point to cooling the southbridge or does it not get hot? my case temp is pretty good so I don't know.

thanx
