HL2 9/30 or 11/19 11/20?????

WTF is up with the release date of this game? I get a different date when I got to ebgames, gamestop, and wal-mart? Is there even a release date yet? Same with Halo. EBGames and Gamestop say 9/30 and walmart says 9/23??? ARRGGH! I want to know whats going on here.

I believe valve was still shooting for 9/30 release date.

All sources, including valve, say 9/30. Weather or not they will delay that will become appearant if the game goes gold by the 23rd or not. But I'm sure if they plan on delaying it, they will have announced it before the gold-date (unless 9/30 is the gold date, not the shelf-date).

I visited the local eb a couple weeks ago and asked the clerk to look up the hl2 date and he had advised me they pushed the game back to oct 19th.

I just read a review a few days ago and Gabe stated that 9/30 was still the planned release date.
