My 1.0ghz Athlon, set to 133mhz fsb via jumper AND 124mhz jumper-free BIOS settings, actually works at 1.85v (Asus A7V133 monitor software states the voltage is 1.93v). My RAM is currently PC100, but I will be buying PC133 very shortly and then I will o/c it to its full potential of 1.33Ghz! Yum!

Anyway, I need to make my point! Even at 1240Mhz, the CPU gets up to 64 degrees C (~147 deg. F) when playing Unreal Tournament. That's beggin' for serious trouble, I could roast a turkey inside the case with those temperatures. I did buy a reasonably sized cooling heatsink/fan when I bought the CPU and airflow in/out of the case has been set via extra fans.

Without replacing the heatsink fan (which I don't want to do out of fear of cracking the chip), what else can I do to keep the CPU running a bit less warm?

If I were to replace the heatsink/fan, what could y'all recommend?

Also, the jumperless and jumper values for the motherboard don't specify how they'll accept AGP and PCI settings. Are these settings locked at 66 and 33mhz respectively, regardless of fsb setting?

Thanks much!

P.S. I know 1ghz Athlons are about $150 by now, but I'd rather spend the money on cooling if not groovy games! :)
