Auto power-on with tyan s2510?

Ok this is pretty weird. I got me a tyan s2510 intel p3 dualie. Connected the bit up and when the computer is plugged in and the powersupply switch is turned on, the computer turns on. Isn't the main power switch supposed to be in charge of that?

This happens even when the power sw front panel connector is / isn't connected.

Any ideas?
