Gettin a Kt7A, and i dont understand something-is there settings in the BIOS to get above the 133 FSB, cause i see some running at 145 on that board, and if so do i have to have pc150 or will GOOD pc133 do for FSB's round 145??

well PC150 would be safer, but good 133 should be able to get to 140 or maybe a little higher. Just give it a shot and see is the only suggestion I can give. There are setting for the FSB in the bios utility of the KT7A to change your fsb.

Good pc 133 ram should be able to handle 145 fsb but it's kind of a crap shoot. I have some Xerox pc 133 cas 3 ram doin 140 at cas2 right now and it's stable. Your best bet would be to get the best ram you can afford.

if i get pc-150, that what is better cas2 or 3 i seem to think that cas 2 is faster even though i think that cas3 runs at a higher mhz??
Cas 2 is better and you can get pc 150 cas 2 ram. I just bought some Corsair pc150 cas2 ram the other day. It hasnt come in the mail yet but it's on it's way.

how much was it and what size did you get?? What is a good ram-Mushkin-Micron-Crucial-Viking-Kinston, of will they all do?
Those are all good ram. I got mine from PCProgress. i got a 256 meg stick for 121 out the door, shipping included. Corsair 256 pc 150 cas 2.
