I'm going to be building a peltier based o2 cooler for my new 900 and would like a few tips please. The chip has the code AKCA0115BPIW and is a faint light green, I will bridge the L1's w/ a pencil as everyone does. The MOBO is an Abit KT7E w/micron 133(128meg).Video is Leadtek GeForce 2 Pro (64meg) I would like to realize a gig to 1.1 if at all possible, what you fellas think i can/should do? thanks a bunch in advance.

You are geting too fancy with those top noch stuff like peltier and the like... I think, with those gadgets, you need powerful PSU too :-). Start to make the system works as it should be, 900mhz... then burn in for a few days, with max V core and V I/O.. then begin your OCing Journey... With AKCA, I guess you may get too 1.1G and if your luck had come you may be up there with 1.15G or 1.2 G... I think the later batch like ANZA, ANCA??? (or something like that could do better) So start to reboot now. My 800 Duron ( not green. It is purple) worked fine at 8x133=1066mhz but to achive maximum stability I backed off a little at 7.5x137=1028mhz. I like to optimize the performance with FSB but soon as I reach 140mhz FSB or more, I got a long beep and 2 shoter ones, which means AGP problem. I think the VIA chip set of Abit KT7A has AGP=FSB/2 but I don't see it in the Bios at all? HOW? Please help... MAny Thanks.

AKCA is what my Duron 800 and 700 were and only did in the 1050 range. I think you'll be lucky to get 1.1. But you never know. I wouldn't bother with the ice just yet, see wat it's like with air. Besides, I'm not sure the ice will get you much further.
