Yo....
My sys. specs are on the bottom of my message... I am a student a Cornell University, and i use ethernet to connect to e-mail, internet... da da da... anyhow... I lose all internet access after about 5 minutes.... no matter what I've used 4 ethernet cards, including an external USB 3com, and the same thing happens. I just upgraded to a Delta fan and no change... i've refotmatted, reinstalled... you name it, i've done it, from swapping mobo's to turning off pci irq steering.............. Im lost
Anyone have any ideas??

Well, I don't know myself...but the regulars over in the networking board might. Try posting there.
i think that your nic`s can`t handle the over spec pci bus.
try it with just the 133 fsb and c if that helps..
or keep the I/O voltage to 3.3v.
GOD...

Try updating ur Bios
I don't think it is because of the fsb, you are only a little above stock. Try a different cable sometimes they can be intermitant. Also try unpluging and pluging it back in to the comp sometimes that will bring it back up. At least it will give you a clue to the problem. How long is the cable? Long cables can cause this trouble to.

wow... 5 replies, most of which suggest the same thing
I have been running at standard speed FSB since i reinstalled... have tried flashing all the bios updates (i like ww best) tried moving the box to a different dorm (my girl's) and using her cables.... which work fine for her........ no such luck ummm.... lets see, I/O is at 3.5... ill try owering it tonight, but dont think thats a problem... just installed a delta on the 6035... gonna heatsink the 'fets... dont know if its a heat issue........ im running 111F underload not overclocked ambient around 83. Not too bad, i dont think... grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Do you have an irq or i/o address conflict? Not all cards like to share.
