GeIL Pc4200- Kick ass memory

Preliminary testing with geil Pc4200 memory yielded these results:

DDR 568 3-4-4-8 3.0V

verified memtest stable.. I will be tweaking and hopefully be cranking out DDR ~570 2.5-4-4-7.

I have an Epox 4pca3+, 4818 un buffered Sandra benchmarks!

I can get possibly 500MHz @ 6-3-3-2 timings with 2.85

My board doesnt have a 2.8 setting, though 2.85 is actually about 2.81

Are u kidding me, this ram is HORRIBLE worst ram ever and false advertising this ram would barely do 500mhz/250MHz with increased voltage by 2v and looser timings from 2.5 to 3 on my ABIT IC7 and 2.4C

292 at 1:1 for 4.1 something ghz.

4818MB/s unbuffered? I'd like to see a screenie please....;)

its only 6800 some buffered, but it says 4818 when i turn off 'buffering' in options, im not sure if thats how your supposed to do it.

BTW, this ram is f*cking AWESOME! I got it to 292MHz @ 3.35v 7-4-4-2.5

Nah, you probably didn't turn off all the buffering options. ;)

hit " Print Screen " button your keyboard
then open wordpad and past to word pad " right click inside wordpad and left click paste"
" save as " give it a name
go to " http://members.villagephotos.com/ "
sign up for free and use the upload button in there to save the pic at their site and then use the url that they give for the picture to post pics on board.

Yeah, but for every 1 good stick there are 4 counter bad sticks. I will refer you to my sig, second set after rma, and still will not run to spec.

But I will say that it seems that Geil mem seems to operate when you can send 3.0+ through them, but on the other hadn what mem doesn't (see q149's scores using pc2700 with vdimm mod, 6800+ sandra). The only saving grace for Geil is that their warranty covers such voltages.
