View Full Version : MX700 problems...
Having some problems with this mouse... the batteries are fully charged, but for some reason it refuses to move the cursor, which can be fixed by putting the mouse back into the charger and quickly taken out. Anybody have any ideas what is going on with this thing? This is exactly why I didn't buy anything wireless before.

Hmmm, I have the MX700, never had this problem, but sometimes after I leave the computer for a while, the mouse refuses to start moving again, mabe I should try putting it into the charger rather than restarting :p.
I think your batteries might be going bad, test it with some other batteries to check it.
I also had battery problems, but that was because I had a piece of the sticker stuck in between the battery and contact :D.
were you able to use the *other* buttons within games at all?
the problem i was having did seems to be the batteries, it was reporting the batteries were at a good level at first, but then it went south. also, i noticed that in the battery compartment i says 1.5v and there was 1.2v batteries in there... so what did i do, i went out and purchased more 1.2v batteries , but i'm not sure if it really has any kind of significance.
Newer games support the other buttons on the mouse, but I noticed BF1942 does not. I doubt any games will come out anymore not supporting them, and I use them really well in games like AA, one for use and one for communication.
My batteries are the ones it came with, they are blue and are rated at 1.2, so I wouldnt go changing those batteries to another rating.

there is a btton on the docking station "connect" trying pressing that, i think that restarts the connection with the mouse. and thee is also a "connect" button on the bottom of the mouse, the really small white one. Try that.
I've tried reconnecting, doesn't work.

I use all the buttons in BF1942 and I do not use the Logitech software.
the mouse "idles" after a while. click a mouse button once and then see if it starts to move. i don't think the button matters, but i always use the left clicker:D
