My friend is selling his geforce 4 ti-4200. 64 megs, made by pyn. He wants to sell it for about 60 bucks, but I am sure I can talk him down another 5 or so. Right now I am currently using a geforce 3 with 64 megs. Bigger improvement? I am lacking heavily on the vidcard department here, so will this help? I play galaxies, and a few other games that I would probably benifit from it. I was planning on using the geforce3 in this p4 rig I am trying to build. Worth it, or no?
Yeah, I'd go for it.. that's not bad at all.... especially if you can get him down a few more bucks :)

thats a good deal, sell your geforce3 for like $50 and its pratically free upgrade. ti4200s eat ti500s by 15% if both are stock

Jump on that deal for sure. That's a great deal even if you don't talk him down.

I got my GeForce4 Ti4200 for $60. I would jump for it. I had a GeForce3 Ti200 before and I say it's a pretty good performance improvement.
You know you can get Ti-4200 128MB card for under $100. Very overclockable.

Wow, definitely go for it if you can afford it. Talk him down the extra $5 if you can... that's what friends are for, right? You could sell the GF3, but it's always a good idea to have a backup card.

Well, that changes everything! You have a greedy friend and I should introduce him to mine. In that case, your card and $25 would be a pretty good deal, but I doubt he'd go for something like that... you know, greedy.

What about breakfast? ;) Looks like Im going to have to wait for christmas to get a better card. :-/
Yeah, that price is a joke and a half. ti4200s and geforce 3's actually cost about the same. Hell you can get a refurb 128meg ti4200 8x for 80$ and sell your card for 40$ on ebay EASY.
