I ran Memtest86 and here are my results. All test were done using 1:1 ratio with 3-4-4-8 times @ 3.0V~3.1V, the configuration is below:

IC7 (w/VMem Voltage Mod)
Enermax EG465P-VE 450W
2.4C at 1.60V~1.65V
Zalman 7000Cu
ATI Radeon 9700 Pro (Zalman HP Version C)

Please read through the entire post, my actual question is at the bottom.

FSB = Front Side Bus (for those who didn't already know)
DC = Dual Channel 512M
SC256 = Single Channel 256M
SC512 = Single Channel 512M

FSB/(DC/SC256/SC512)/Status/Boots Into Windows
272/SC512/Pass/Yes
272/DC/Pass/No
273/DC/Pass/No
275/DC/Fail/No
280/SC256/Pass/Yes
280/SC512/Fail/No
282/SC256/Pass/Yes
284/SC256/Pass/Yes (Sandra Score of 4400/4300 Buffered)
285/SC256/Fail/No

Right now I'm running 271 FSB at 2.5-4-4-7 and 2.9V Stable but the question here is do you notice something strange in the results?

The 2 modules will not work good together at high FSBs, why is that? Does anyone know why? I think I might have unmatched pairs or just memory that can't go high.

One more way of isolating this is to put the memory into another IC7, IC7-G and a P4C800 and see if the memory runs on there.

I am getting very frustrated with this memory, because I hopped to get atleast 280-285 FSB and I'm just dead as a log at 272.

Is it time for RMA or is it time to give up and stick with what I have?

One other thing, I can run this ram perfect at 5:4 2.5-4-4-7 @ 295 FSB and getting a 3dMark of 19999 (Almost made it to the 20K Club!)

Help!!!!
