Take a look at Abit, Asus and IWill. Different people have their own preference but any of them should be good.

Everyone is quick to slam a motherboard that they're had problems with..... I am sure that not everyone that has purchased a Pro2A or any other MSI board has had the same problems you've been having. What kind of problems have you been having? More specific, why do you say it "sucks"? If you're comparing its performance to 1 KT133A or DDR variant, yeah, there's going to be a little performance discrepancy. But I agree, check out Abit and Iwill for sure. Asus is an iffy recomendation, at best, at this point.

Well, a question like this is almost certainly asking for an arguement, and I would say to do some research, and choose the one with the features you want. Ed is reviewing a new board now for the AMD platform.
On the subject of MSI's sucky performance, have you tried the latest 4 in one drivers? though not familiar with the newer AMD's I have heard that the latest 4in1 drivers make all the difference.
You might try to get the latest ver. and maybe while you're at it, D'L' the latest Bios update.
Check out the hardware review sites, the AMD fans here could point you in the right direction.
Hope this helps, and good luck
